Journal Entry #9

1. My contribution to the group has been a big one, as I got the group to get going with their work. Also I was the one who put all the information into one as the preamble. My work ethic is to work to maximum output and quality.

2. My strengths were that I can easily put information together even though it may be scattered. My weakness was that I took too long to get started.

1. I am responsible for putting together mine and my group members research.

2. The supplementary material I am using to back up my research are videos from You Tube, material from books, and online statements from Indigenous people

1. The 10-20-30 rule means that you should only use 10 slides in your presentation, not more. You should not take more than 20 minutes and you should use a 30 point font.

2. It is important to be effective in the presentation of your nominee as without being able to CONVINCE the target, you will not be successful.

1. The significant event in indigenous history this week is the apology being made by our Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, for the injustices done to those of the stolen generation.

2. This may be used as supplementary material by using the actual video or by using quotes to prove points/mistakes made.

3. My aim for this lesson is to work on my preamble and Aboriginal history.

1. My frustrations are that there is lack of group work, and every group member is doing tasks of their own.

2. I will deal with these frustrations by talking to my group members and making them do their work.

3. I need to get the team members working as a group.

1. Laws that are meant to be followed which in turn lead to heaven.

2. The purpose of the beatitudes is to set a path for all to follow. It is a path to get people once dead, to heaven.

3. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. This beatitude is put into practice by people of faith(priests) as they preach in churches that if you forgive others, you shall be forgiven when you do something wrong.
